Well as you know it will be getting hot again pretty soon. Just a reminder some of the things you can do to help in lowering your utility cost. As you know your Air conditioner is just one of highest electricity-consuming devices in a typical home.. Most home owners look for a matched system, precise temperature control, Improved comfort, and energy efficient. Please make sure you change your air filters regular, keep all dirt and grass clippings away from your outside unit when mowing. By doing these two things it will help keep your inside and outside coils from working overtime, which means your unit will not run as long. Usually a coil cleaning job can run you between $300 to $700.00 dollars if it is overlooked. If you want to schedule a service check up on your A/c please contact me. I will be glad to set up a time and do a complete full system check, and be able to tune and. maximize your unit to be energy efficient. Maybe you already have a new system installed, you still want to protect your investment, As homeowners we are glad to turn the new system on and it works, as time goes by it is out of sight and out of mind, the perfect system you paid for becomes lest efficient in time especially without a check up. Please don't wait schedule a check up today before summer gets here. What else can I do as a homeowner? Glad you asked. How is your insulation in your attic? We do that too. February 2016- tip of the month
Are you always on the the go? You can have a programmable thermostat installed. You can always schedule it with your schedule. They are the most accurate and env. safer.
March- 2015- tip of the month
Keep your grass and weeds away from your outside unit. If you have a landscaping thumb, place some plastic down and fill in some designer rock, it will save you in the long run and give your house that extra touch.
APRIL-2015- tip of the month
Cant remember if you changed your filter- make a sticker with the first letters of the months, circle them as you change it, it will help you remember.
May 2015 tip of the month
Always make sure that all sprinklers , including self timing systems that have sprinkler heads, that you do not spray directly onto your outside unit. Due to extreme heat, this will cause water spots on your fins, wich in turn will start shorten the life of your unit, due to the deposits that your treated water carries.
June 2015-tip of the month
When its time to start mowing that lawn, always remember when working around your outside Condensor unit, please keep your unit
turned off . All that grass and dirt gets pulled into your outside unit, which in turn makes your unit run longer and harder. At least once a year
your Unit should be inspected and cleaned. This will increase the effeciency and extend the life of your system.

December-tip of the month
Even if your Air Conditioner is not running during the winter time, it is always a good idea to pour about a cup of bleach in your Air handling drain line
about two times a year. This in turn will help keep your line from clogging up, which could cause severe property damage inside the house. Most units
now come with the option with a low voltage float switch which is attached in line with your drain. If it starts to back up, your system will automatically
turn off.

November- tip of the month
This will be probally another hot summer, your a/c is running alot longer and harder. Suggestion- change filter out every thirty days- especially if you have a pleated, fiberglass(throw away type), or a polyester filter.
Washout filters are the cheapest, but in the long run these will do more harm on your inside air handling unit, and it will require alot more maintenance. Pe...ople always ask me what the best filter is to buy. Well , look for a rating called (merv)- Its on the package and is rated between 1-20. 20 being the best. At least every year have your a/c looked at and cleaned, both the outside unit and inside unit. This will help you in energy savings and extend the life of your system.
